I would invest time into the Medic class. you can rack up serious points easily by throwing down a health pack and reviving downed team mates. I am at lvl 30 currently and have unlocked just about everything in multiplayer. Personally i don't play the medic class but I have found it to be very very rewarding.
If you're more of a "tank hunter", invest time into the engineer class. Each destroyed vehicle gets you (i think) up to 150+ points depending on how many people were in the vehicle when it blew up. More points, more XP.
Lastly, getting gold stars on weapons and vehicles get you 5,000 experience a piece. getting other medals and pins also can boost your XP gain. I have had plenty of games where I have gotten 15+ awards taking a huge chunk out of the experience bar. I don't know why sniping is so hard but if you like, here are some good games to get or rent that are good sniping games. Saints Row series. Assault plays the least when it comes to support, but they still play a minor role: they supply ammo to their buddies. When it comes to combat, they're probably the best all-around. For guns, the ones most used are probably the XM8P, and later on the M16.
Engineers play the anti-tank role. They use the RPGs to take down the tanks, and the power tool to fix friendlies. When it comes to combat, they're probably the best for close-range. The guns most used are the XM8C and AKS-74u.
Medics play the role of, obviously, the medic. When a buddy's low on health, or dead, they swoop in and help out. When it comes to combat, they're probably the best for suppressing fire. I find that what works best is to first try logging out and then back in, and if that doesn't work, wait for tomorrow, since the glitch usually lasts the whole day. Or if you are impatient, just play a different game and wait a few hours, log back in and it should be fine. Remember, game is realistic so the bullet (same goes for tracer) cannot travel far, they'll eventually drop. Making a smart guess by moving slightly up, depending on the gun's power, will help you shoot far away targets more effectively. Distance also determines the time it takes for the bullet to hit the target, so when a target is moving, you have to predict where they are going. The further the target, the more away your cursor should be predicting where the target is moving; the closer the target, the closer the cursor.
Ok...so back to tracer...it doesn't have a scope so I prefer to save the ammo for when the chopper is closer. Remember, it's easier to hit it when it's closer, even if you are risking your life for it, because if you hit it with a tracer, either you or one of your teammates will be able to take it out easily with the rpg + explosion upgrade. bad company 2 has no where near the amount of players as COD on ps3, but there is still enough players to find at least 20 player matches 80-90% of the time. Trust me, you should really get this game. It is team oriented and has awesome vehicles, not to mention almost perfect balancing of 4 classes and weapons. The destructible environments will allow you to flush out campers, all in all BFBC2 on ps3 is still a heck of fun with a good amount of players. Call of the dead, because (I have both so I will give you my opinion) vietnam has already been basically going out of style, and it wasn't really that good to begin with. Vietnam is just like four maps with a tank, a boat, and a jeep, oh and a helicopter that dies with one AK-47 clip (with mag ammo) not joking. The vietcong get no vechicles basically except for one map which is spawn-kill haven and you get a T-54. I would stick with regular online or get the VIP pass and get all the maps and the vietnam for like 800 microsoft points.

First of all you want to have the spotting sensor attachment on. If you are looking at an enemy through your scope you will get points if any team mate kills them, it will also tell your team mates there are enemies around. Second try directing your squad to certain objectives. when you are attacking or defending just look at the objective and press the select button, this will tell your squad members that they should attack or defend that certain objective. This will give you points and make your squad act as a team (if they decide to follow your leadership). Look out for enemy vehicles and groups of enemies to attack with your mortar strike. Not sure what you mean. If you bought the PC version, you will play on Dedicated servers hosted by other people. Unless you are hosting a LAN game or have rented/bought a server from Multiplay etc you can't change the set up of a game.

Well, I think I got the most xp points in the game playing medic...it can be a ton of fun. So, as for advice - I'd play lots of rush since that's where you'll shine. Stay towards the back of groups (and yes you'll want to at least have a few guys around you at all times) and when you see an enemy, crouch if you can and fire off a few long clips (don't go holding down the trigger until your empty, but don't burst it too much) since the guns you use actually get more accurate (to a point) the longer you fire them. And of course whenever you're being fired on (or your teammates) through out a medic kit, and look for anyone you can revive (there's icons on your mini-map to help with that). get gold stars for your guns and do what i do which is fun annoy the opposite team expescially when you are the defender, when the enemy moves up to the your old base stay behind and hide some where and get you knife ready and once you see them sneak up on them and kill them and you can get some major knife streaks i got 22 once lol. im finding that after maxing out im abit bored and lost for things to do
just mess arround launching quads with people on with c4, its sooo funny
mess arround im the humvee getting as many road kills as possible - also halarious
join a clan ( if ur good :) ) so you can play with the same people, also makes it more enjoyable (im in a clan and its fun)
or if ure a serious player just set yourself targets like getting the gold stars and trophies etc
but i know what ya mean

First of all, why would you want to be a lower level? And second of all, no online games like that aren't made for you to go lower. They're made to be played the other way around. However I may suggest trying to level up an underused class? That worked for me, because I focused on assault for a while, and then decided to use sniper. Maybe I have been playing mw2 too much but in bf1943 the controls were way better and it felt like I was actually playing a FPS. You have to carry around 20-30 pounds of Gear and yet you glide like a butterfly in MW2.. Hell you can turn around even faster than you blink in MW2.. Try that in real life. You also can't unload a clip of mag in a split second without sacrificing aim, but you can achieve that with perfection in MW2.

You can't get Vietnam from Steam if you don't have BC2 on Steam.

You can't play the Steam version if you use the retail copy. What you should use is EA Store, as someone else noted.
The odd thing is... you already have Vietnam. Did you get that huge update that took a million years? That contained Vietnam. Even with EA Downloader, all you'll get is a special unlock code. However the Steam version is different, since the Steam version updates through Steam rather than through the standard BFBC2Updater.

i log on, and check my stats and it says i have no level, no kills, no deaths etc. and i know for a fact i am level 27 and have around 4000 kills. i am on psn.

Like week ago or so, people were complaining about battlefield bad company 2 that online crashes and wouldn't work. I have about 5 friends on PSN that have BFBC2 and online works for them. It might be that theres an outage of servers, or too many people are logging on at the same time.

How do you shoot down a helicopter with a RPG in BFBC2 for xbox 360?

Ok there are numerous ways to go about doing this. The first and foremost is to equip a tracer gun as your secondary and try to "trace" the chopper. This could be a little difficult if the pilot is really good (as is most cases), but the dart travels faster than an RPG. After the tracer dart has been planted, pull out your RPG and then aim at the intended target. DO NOT shoot yet. You will see an incomplete red square . Once you have continued to aim at your target long enough, the red square will become solid with a thick border, and right underneath it, how far away the target is will be displayed in meters. NOW you shoot! Your projectile explosive will then find its way to the target and if you have an RPG and not a M2 Carl Gustav, the target will be destroyed UNLESS the chopper pilot has the SMOKE vehicle specialization on. This specialization removes tracer darts from vehicles.
Another way, is to use the M2 Carl Gustav and free fire with it. The Gustav rocket travels a lot faster than an RPG. Difficult, but very possible, especially if the chopper's movements become predictable(i.e; the pilot is spawn killing and simply circling around the spawn.)
Two reasons why your UAV is getting shot down. One is because you're flying too low and trying to run over people or use the machine gun. That makes the UAV a lot more noticeable and it only takes about ten bullets to shoot it down, OR because you're getting killed while piloting it.

You could always look for groups of players with similar names or tags in their names to indicate the part of group and approach them.
Look for servers (if you can) that indicate a clan and usually there will be a group of people with the server name in the names.
I know website for Xbox 360, PS3 etc. but I don't know if it will be much use to you.

Do you mean you cant find out how to start multiplayer? or do you mean if the games cant find any servers? To find servers, go to multiplayer, then choose which gamemode/map you want to play then press Search, if it cant find any games (which is highly unlikely) then search for different maps/gametypes, or restart your xbox/ps3/pc.english to arabic translation

I've been playing this series with my clan since 1942 and have ALL the games (including the ones on the consoles) and I will tell you that controllers suck with battlefield. Battlefield is meant for the PC, so trust me and only use the keyboard and mouse!

First you have to download the relevant drivers from the microsoft website, make sure you download the correct one as there are seperate drivers for the wired and wireless controllers. After you download the drivers your pc will recognise the controllers, then inside the battlefield interface you have to set the P1 device to the controller.

Or just wait entirely until Modern Warfare 3 is released. I've seen the trailers and it looks like the style of Battlefield with the mechanics of MW2. I know the game is created by the same creators of BFBC2 but I'm wondering if anybody sees some hints of MW2 in there.Would it be safe to say Medal of Honor is the child of MW2 and BFBC2?
Well I have played the beta and if that's any indication of the way the game plays its more like just BFBC2. There are no hints of MW2 in the gameplay controls, pacing or anywhere that Ive played. I knew it would be similar to BFBC2 since the same company is making the multiplayer but its way to similar to BFBC2 for my liking. Maybe the campaign plays different since its made by different people than the multiplayer part of the game but I doubt it.
I would as the new medal of honor is new, newer than both BC2 and MW2 so any idea could have been taken because EA apparently owns the Modern Warfare franchise and made the Bad Company games and the new Medal of Honor so anything could be said. The sad thing is that at this rate in a couple of years we're gonna end up with one big video game company, guess who EA, that will pump out 30 - 40 piece of crap games a year because thats what EA does, they make a quick buck on games that suck, thats my opinion at least. The multiplayer is ridiculously like BFBC2 and is probably not even as good as BFBC2 because it doesnt have Destruction 2.0 and it has terrible hit detection. It is not like MW2 at all it is basically BFBC2 but a bit different. I am going to play the BETA and maybe try the game.
