Is there a way to run Bfbc2 on Windows xp?

I've recently bought bfbc2 and i cannot run it cuz it say it require vista or seven...any idea how i could still manage to run it on xp???Is there a way to run Bfbc2 on Windows xp?
There doesn't appear to be a necessary requirement for Windows Vista/7 only a recommendation under the system requirements.

The best thing to do would be try to install it anyway and see what happens, if not, just try and see if one of the fixes on that thread works.



If the installer is outright telling you that you need Windows Vista/7 then it may not be an official installation, so you should probably get that checked out.
