What is the best sniper rifle in bfbc2?

I just got the game and i normally use the m24 to cover my squads advance and spot targets. It works long range but short-mid range i never stand a chance. What's accurate and also packs a nice punch so my pistol could finish them?What is the best sniper rifle in bfbc2?
