How to snipe in BFBC2, and be a team player?

I'm new to BFBC2, and I love using the sniper. I use sniper rifles on every FPS. A lot of people say that using the Recon class doesn't help your team, but I think you can. So my question is, how can I snipe, and be a team player, like spotting, etc while playing rush mode?How to snipe in BFBC2, and be a team player?
Always keep an eye on enemy's spot by hitting select ... Be stealthy and unseen sneak into enemy territory and place c4 charges on helos tanks and humvees then hide in the weeds and wait till u see enemies hop in that vehicle....... Detonate charges .... They don't even know what happened .... Very fun to drop a chopper with a full crew with the push of a button.... But as far as long distance protection for ur squad it's just not possible on all maps .... That's when I get in demolition mode with c4How to snipe in BFBC2, and be a team player?
you always want to cover your team mates, not just snipe whoever you see.
