Fps relies on your console rig. Assuming you have a computer (PC). I have an ATI HD6870 (nice vid card). I always set my graphics to medium online, and i load 3x faster than my friend. The map has nothing to do with your fps. The server might lag depending on the map size and people in the server as well as your connection. A 64 player Large Conquest map will generally lag no matter how good your ping is. So, in conclusion:

-Your FPS relies on your PC rig

-If you want a faster loading time for servers, set your graphics at a "Low" or "Medium" setting.



I also would like to add the statistic i came across when playing:

If you turn Antisophic filtering (AA) off, you'll game doesnt have to run so hot. turning AA off does little to nothing, and it reders usless if your driving or running. It'll drop your FPS by 50%. So turning off this will make all video cards run plenty faster. (PS: Medium and Low settings automatically turn AA off for you) Also turning off HBAO might help (I've never turned it off, so I don't know if it helps).
