Ight so i have Battlefield bad company 2 for steam and my friend just got it too but on the cd version. will the servers for multiplayer be the same?Are the servers different for Bfbc2 on the CD version and Steam version?
Yes, the severs are the same to answer your question. In both versions you don't need your cd to play once installed. But however getting the cd version would be better since you would have the CD key, which can be used as proof of purchase. In short you should be able to connect with your friend.
